1. What is Rubbish, and what do we offer?
Rubbish currently offers 13-gallon kitchen garbage bags, with plans to expand our product line to meet the waste management needs of all consumers. Unlike other companies, we are committed to providing the highest quality garbage bags, using eco-friendly materials, and delivering a customer experience that is second to none.
2. How can I place an order?
Ordering from Rubbish is easy! Simply visit the Shop at the top of this page, add items to your cart, and proceed to checkout. We accept all major payment methods.
3. Do I have to subscribe to Rubbish?
No, you don't have to subscribe! You have two options: subscribe to receive bags every month, every other month, or every three months, or choose our Bulk Up option to get 120 bags in a single order.
4. Why can’t I just buy Rubbish garbage bags without subscribing?
As a small business, producing and sustaining our operations costs more than it does for large companies that manufacture in bulk using lower-quality materials. Subscribing helps us offer the highest quality product without raising prices. If you're not happy with your subscription (though that would be surprising because our bags are amazing 😊), you can cancel anytime—but we’re confident you’ll be hooked once you experience our premium bags!
5. Do you offer free shipping or other delivery options?
Yes! We offer free shipping with the Bulk Up option. For subscriptions, we provide an affordable $4.97 shipping option.
6. What is your return/exchange policy?
We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy, you can return or exchange your order within 30 days of delivery. Please visit our Returns & Exchanges page for more information. We may ask for a photo of the product, as we offer customers the option to buy lightly used bags at a discount.

8. Do you offer international shipping?
We are currently only available in the United States, but stay tuned for updates!
9. What does the “Eco” button on the Shop page mean?
Through our returns partner, we offer the ability for customers to buy discounted bags from customers in their area. For example, let’s say Mitch in Los Angeles buys garbage bags from Rubbish but he doesn’t know his wife Jess already bought 120 garbage bags from us, so he wants to return his garbage bags back to Rubbish. It costs Rubbish money for us to receive that return, reprocess it in our facility, and then re-ship it to a new customer. Meanwhile, Ben lives 10 minutes away from Mitch in Los Angeles, and he’s fine with getting Mitch’s product since he knows it was lightly used. By choosing the “Eco” option, Mitch’s return will go straight to Ben, and Ben will be able to get a discount on his Rubbish order.
10. Are your products eco-friendly? What certifications do they have?
Yes! Our products are made with eco-friendly materials so the bags break down in less than a year instead of decades with other garbage bags.
Don’t believe what companies say? We don’t either. That’s why we have TUV Austria HOME compost certifications, which you can see on the bags themselves and our box, proving our products are truly eco-friendly.
